Core Values Series: Vol. 5 | Transparency

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: this value is what distinguishes Affinity Search Partners from every other technical recruiting firm. (The “What Sets Us Apart” list is adding up!)

We are going to tell you like it is.


In the job hunt, you need to be reminded that you are believed in. That you can do what you set your mind to. That your hard work and experience will pay off. We believe that.

But we also believe that we’re not doing you any kind of service to tell you, for instance, you’re ready to be a director if you’ve not yet been a manager. That’s putting the cart before the horse, see. And part of our job is to guide, coach, and help you into the next best step for you in your career.


Or if you’re a client, and we’re recruiting on an extremely difficult role for you and we find the needle in a haystack . . . But it takes you several days to get approval from your HR department before you can send an offer letter. We have to be honest: this rare jewel will have three other offer letters in their Inbox by the end of the week.

Our promise to you is to be honest and transparent throughout each step in the process. The end goal always being to help companies grow through finding excellent people.
