Let me break it down for you. Recruiters are brought in by companies to fill roles with often hard-to-find talent. That likely means the company’s internal teams have already been working on the role, it’s an especially difficult one to place, and they could benefit from some assistance. Enter recruiting teams.
Because these roles are difficult to fill, that means the valuable folks with these areas of expertise are getting snatched up before you can hardly get the words “new opportunity” out. In other words, time is of the essence! We want to make the placement and our Hiring Managers want both quality and speed in the turnaround.
How is there time to build an authentic relationship with the candidates we’re trying to place? What about with the client?
Remember that drive I mentioned in the last post? We are driven every single day to be making good connections with excellent folks. Not just to fill roles. We’ve got a long backlog of people we’ve interviewed, met with, trust, and would love to place when the right job comes along. In other words, we’re doing lots of preparatory work that has us poised and ready when the client calls.
